It wasn't a safe area, but Drusilla wasn't scared. She wore a red corset over her dark dress, her hair as carefully done as her make-up, her fingernails painted black. She was just looking for her victims and she never had to look for long, not when she walked like this, all by herself in the night.
"Hey, check the goth chick."
"She's alone too. Yo, Morticia, are you looking for Dracula?"
Maybe Spike would have been annoyed at that mix of pop culture, but it didn't register for Drusilla. She just turned to look at the men. Three at once, how perfect. She looked up at them and backed into the alley, her eyes wide, her fear as plain as it was fake. And they followed her, of course they did. Followed and grabbed her and pinned her to the wall, never noticing that the expression on her face had changed from fear to glee.
"Hey, check the goth chick."
