Lindsey tried to stay in place even though all he wanted to do was to get away. He did take a step back though, slowly, just so he could get away from that chilling touch. It was different from Darla's, and he wanted none of it.

Drusilla's words about Darla caught him off guard though. Just when he thought he had put her down from his mind, the insane vampire had to drop that in his lap. It almost made him miss what she said next.
